Ebenezer Gospel Hall, Burnbank was founded in 1895 and after a number of temporary locations was situated in Pollock Street, around 1913, which has now been redeveloped and replaced by the Burnbank centre and shops.
In the early 1970s during the redevelopment of Burnbank and after a short time in temporary premises the present building at 15 Glenlee Street was opened in 1972.
We are a Church with around 50 members, plus some teenagers. We are restricted at the present by Covid Regulations. When we come out of Lockdown this website will be changed to reflect the new situation.
Our faith is based on our belief in the Bible as the Word of God which means we believe that God communicates with us through the Bible. The Bible principally reveals to us Jesus Christ, his Son,as fully human and yet divine. The Christian faith is at its core about the Birth Life Death and Resurrection of Christ. He came to reveal God and to save sinners John 3 v 16.
We are always delighted to welcome visitors.
